Centennial Plaza

Located in Mountain View, CA, the plaza sits atop Castro Street adjacent to the VTA bus crescent and the Cal Train station. This project completes the transit center incorporating a replica of the Southern Pacific Train Station that originally occupied the site in the mid-1800's. Benches and soft shade trees provide areas to sit and read among the planting areas full of brightly colored flowers with lightly scented plantings. Pavers with supporters' names were integrated into the entrance adding a personal and community touch to the project.
