Beals Alliance was founded in 1978 and is managed by William "Jay" Beals. The firm is located in Folsom with project offices in Modesto and Bodega Bay. We are a small and responsive firm focused on specialty projects that meet our firm's goals and objectives. Beals Alliance is a firm that is passionate about delivering comprehensive planning, creative design, quality design documentation, responsive construction administration and exceptional customer service. We are a multi-disciplinary firm comprised of Landscape Architects, Athletic Facility Planners, and Civil Engineers. Our design team has earned over 40 awards for superior design and project planning of athletic facilities.

Our projects, delivered for both public and private clientele, include: athletic fields and stadiums, parks for recreation and sports, site planning, environmental planning, sustainable design, trails and open spaces, urban design, plazas and quads, municipal facilities, and streetscapes. Our staff is very involved in various professional organizations. Jay Beals is the founder of the Northern California Chapter of Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA). Our staff members collaborate on technical manuals for Synthetic Turf and All Weather Tracks for the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA). Jay speaks nationally on athletic facility design and is recognized as an expert in the design and use of Synthetic Turf and Track. Members of the firm regularly provide technical sessions to other organizations. An arm of the firm Athletic Facilities Consulting Group (AFCG) has assembled dozens of professionals in various areas of athletic facility design, manufacturing and construction.
